Extremely Disappointed; Unprofessional and Unreliable Service We had a terrible experience with Matchless Boat Rentals in Muskoka, and I feel obligated to share it so others can avoid the same disappointment. We drove 3 hours from Toronto, rented a car, spent money on gas, and planned our long weekend around a boat rental we had confirmed and signed a contract for at 3:30 PM. When we arrived, we were told that the boat's battery was dead. Frustrating, but we waited patiently. By 4 PM, they told us that they had given the boat away to someone else and had no boats left, even though we had already signed the contract. While we were trying to understand how this could happen, another group walked in and said, “We are Nabeel’s friends,” and shockingly, they were immediately given a boat. When we confronted them, they brushed it off as a "human error". There was zero accountability, no apology, and no attempt to offer an alternative solution. They close at 6 PM, so our entire day was ruined. we couldn’t do anything else. This wasn’t just a scheduling issue. it was completely unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. Our time, effort, and money were wasted. This company ruined our long weekend. Would absolutely not recommend.
Very Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience I had a terrible experience with Matchless Boat Rental. I booked a boat for 3:30 PM, and after driving 4 hours to get there, I was told after signing the contract that the boat’s battery had an issue and they needed some time to fix it. When I came back, the employee said he had given my boat to someone else! He then offered me a larger boat for 12 people but later took that away too. Things got worse when he asked if I was friends with the owner, Nabeel. When I said no, another customer arrived about 10 minutes after me claiming to be Nabeel’s friend — and they immediately gave him the boat without signing any contract or waiting like I had to. This was completely unfair, unprofessional, and disrespectful. My time and effort were wasted. I would not recommend this company to anyone — they clearly prioritize their friends over paying customers.
Absolutely brilliant experience! The team working there was very warm and welcoming, and they made the whole process smooth and seamless. They clearly explained how to operate the boat and all the safety rules, which made us feel comfortable right away. Everything was transparent, no hidden fees or surprises. A really enjoyable day out on the lake thanks to the great people working there!
Had an amazing experience with these guys! Saif and the team helped us with all our needs. We have used their services twice. Once for a boat and once for a jet ski. Always a pleasure to work with them. Thank you guys!
Highly recommend this rental company. We rented a 2023 GTI here on the Trent Severn Waterway and had a wonderful experience. Patrick dropped off the unit on time, was very thorough with showing us the pre existing damages, and was so kind and wonderful to deal with. Ted came to pick up the unit and was just as lovely. The staff were so professional, the Sea Doo was brand new, and the whole experience was a breeze. Thank you guys so much for what you do. I'll be sure to send business your way for years to come!
Our family had a great experience organizing our day with Al. Ted was an excellent operator. He knew the area well, was a great communicator and made sure everyone had a fantastic time and were able to do what they wanted (fishing, sight seeing, tubing, water skiing). We will definitely use again.
What a great experience with Matchless Adventures. They have new boats, GPS equipped. Everything went great since my first call with Allan. Provide you the insurance, temp orary boating licence etc. Make process easier and smoother. We liked it so much that we used their services twice in a 3 day trip. Definitely will come back.
